The Accidental Prime Minister is a 2019 Bollywood film directed by Vijay Ratnakar Gutte. The screenplay was written by Mayank Tewari, based on the book by Sanjaya Baru. The film stars Anupam Kher as Dr. Manmohan Singh and Akshaye Khanna as Sanjaya Baru. It also features Suzanne Bernert as Sonia Gandhi and Arjun Mathur as Rahul Gandhi. The movie was released in India on January 11, 2019.
